Little Miss Sunshine

No! You are not leaving me alone with those kids out there, said little miss sunshine to her Papa who was fulfilling his promise of dropping her at first day of school. He knew she was adamant and she won't accept anything against her decision.Papa worried seeing her and empathised to het by saying “ Of course , I won’t leave you alone. I will be here waiting for you”.

Even though she was eased a little bit ,she was skeptical . “Alright Papa, but you have to promise me you would stay at a place where I could see you.I swear if I don’t find you I will leave and never go to School”. Papa laughed at the innocent demand and happily agreed. He held her shoulders and told her” Little Miss Sunshine, I promise I will never be away from your sight when you need me. Just remember ,I am never far away from your reach”.

Years pass by and Little Miss Sunshine was surprised when Pappa refused to stand by her side. Of all the souls in the world, it was her Pappa who created the wound that wasn't healing. She was sure he had got it wrong and she never bothered to convince him.Time will prove him wrong. But Today, when she was lost in this dystopian world , she could see her Papa standing not far from her sight, smiling and saying “Little Miss Sunshine, I always kept my promise and I was never away from your sight when you needed me. Remember! I am never far from your reach”.
